B.S., Global Business

Students must first be admitted to ASU at the West campus in the School of Global Management and Leadership, and must have:

  • Obtained a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better in high school or a GPA of 2.5 in transfer work from an accredited institution.
  • Students entering ASU with an Associates Degree from a Maricopa Community College or other university, should have transcripts that reflect a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 and a GPA of 2.5 or better in the lower level business skill courses to be admitted to the Accountancy program.
  • 100 and 200 level business skill courses for Accountancy are:
    • Financial and Managerial Accounting (6-7 hours) *
    • Computers in Business (3 hours)
    • Principles of Economics, Microeconomics and Macroeconomics (6 hours
    • First-Year English Composition (6 hours)
    • Brief Calculus (3 hours)
    • Business Analysis (3 hours)
    • Statistical Analysis (3 hours
  • Students entering ASU without an Associates Degree, but from a Maricopa Community College or other university with transfer hours, should have transcripts that reflect a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 and a GPA of 2.5 or better in the lower level business skill courses above to be admitted to the Accountancy program.
  • Students on 2005 or later catalog year, must have a "C" or higher in their accounting series
