SGML's Department of Accountancy offers a flexible Post  Baccalaureate Certificate on Professional Accounting. This SGML exclusive program is designed for individuals who already have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and need additional coursework to meet the educational requirements for Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensure in the State of Arizona.
Arizona law requires at least 36 semester hours of accounting courses (of which at least 30 semester hours must be upper division) and 30 semester hours of related business courses.
Upon completion of the Certificate in Professional Accounting program, students will have met the 150-hour requirement and the rigorous testing standards for CPA certification in Arizona.
