Post Baccalaureate Certificate in Accounting

Applicants to the Post Baccalaureate Certificate in Accounting program must:

  • Possess a four-year baccalaureate degree from an accredited university or college, with a minimum 2.50 GPA
  • Be admitted to ASU at the West campus as a non-degree graduate student
  • Have completed the following prerequisites (minimum 21 credits) with a "B" or better in each accounting course and a "C" or better in the remaining courses:
    • Principles of Financial Accounting*

      Principles of Managerial Accounting*

      Macroeconomics

      Microeconomics

      Finite Math, Brief Calculus or Quantitative Methods

      Business Statistics or Probability Statistics

      Computer Information Systems or Computer Applications

      *Accepted Series: ACC 211 and ACC 212; ACC 111, 112 and 212; or ACC 230, 240 and 250 or 111
