Dear SGML Alum,

There’s been a lot of buzz around your alma mater recently. As dean of the ASU School of Global Management and Leadership (SGML), I have witnessed many exciting changes here. We’ve even changed our school name to better reflect the new developments.

Right now, SGML programs are growing exponentially to accommodate the nearly 2,000 students currently enrolled in our school. In our pursuit of academic excellence, we continue to add world-class faculty tour roster, so students learn from the very best in their field. We also continue to add degree programs dedicated to developing a new generation of globally-oriented, competitive leaders. In fall 2007, we welcomed the inaugural classes of our Master of Applied Leadership and Management and the master of Accountancy. Fall 2008 starts our new Master of Customer-Centric Innovation and Marketing Research and the Master of Financial Analysis and Portfolio Management programs.

As an SGML alum, you are forever entwined with the past, present and future of our school. It is up to all of us to continue to support the future leaders currently pursing their education in our school. I hope you will consider reconnecting with the excitement of your alma mater and getting involved with the ASU Alumni Association, and more specifically the SGML Alumni group. This is a way to give back to the school that helped shape your future.

Thank you for your commitment to excellence at the ASU School of Global Management and Leadership!

Gary R. Waissi, Dean
